SISTERSPIRIT 2026

CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS

THEME:   COURAGEOUS AWAKENING:  JOYFULLY EMBRACING THE DIVINE!

SisterSpirit 2026 is now accepting workshop proposals from inspired SisterSpirit attendees, ministers, practitioners, creatives,  and leaders.  You could present during SisterSpirit’s 2026 “Courageous Awakening: Joyfully Embracing the Divine!” retreat, a spiritual gathering dedicated to creating a supportive, encouraging, transformative and spectacularly fun  retreat. Workshops are essential to provide tools, inspiration, and embodied practices to empower individuals to thrive.  Please complete the requested information to help us evaluate whether your workshop would be right for this particular retreat.

We welcome workshop proposals that offer meaningful learning in areas such as:

• Craft and creative art projects

• Movement and exercise

• Music and singing

• Meditation, chanting, visioning

• Written communication, composition, literacy, and wordsmithing

• Community development, fostering connections, social cohesion, community organizing

• Creative belonging, healing, reconciliation, equity, variety, and inclusion

• Spiritual guidance, wisdom, and leadership

• Conflict transformation, healthy communication

Sessions should reflect the theme of the retreat, be engaging, experiential, and spiritually grounded. We are especially interested in workshops that are directly applicable to spiritual living, and we are interested in different workshops each year.  

Workshop Session Format

·         Duration: 60-90 minutes

·         Style: Engaging, interactive and not lecture-only

·         Outcome: At least 3 clear takeaways for participants

·         Proposal due date:   3/15/2026

·         Acceptance notification:   4/3/2026

Presenter Requirements

Presenters must demonstrate relevant expertise or experience. Criteria include:

·         Background in teaching, coaching, spiritual leadership, or a related field

·         Previous facilitation experience (preferred by not required)

·         Brief biography (150 words or less) and headshot for publication, if selected

·         Must be registered for the retreat https://spirit.breezechms.com/form/2026SisterSpiritRegistration

·         Agree that workshop will be free of sales pitches and that you will not promote or endorse any business that might compromise our non-profit status.

·         Agree to obtain approval of the SisterSpirit Dream Team to sell books/CDs or other products.  If approved, a donation to the SisterSpirit Scholarship Fund is appreciated.

·         Agree that funds are not available for payment of your registration, your travel to the retreat or gratuity.   Supplies for your workshop can be reimbursed after the workshop has been presented with receipts up to $50.  Your time presenting your workshop is on a volunteer basis.
