2026 SisterSpirit Scholarship Application

SCHOLARSHIP NOTIFICATION TO APPLICANTS: NO LATER THAN MARCH 31, 2026.

We are committed to continuing to offer financial assistance to those in need. We do not want cost to be an obstacle for participation in the retreat. If you need some additional financial help, we strongly encourage you to apply for a 2026 SisterSpirit Scholarship. Dr. Ernest Holmes, the founder of our philosophy, said, “Life is ever giving of Itself. We must receive, utilize and extend the gift. Success and prosperity are spiritual attributes belonging to all people.”

Because SisterSpirit highly values diversity, we particularly encourage those who require financial assistance that are in the following groups to apply: black, indigenous, and people of color, young adults (18-35), elders (65+) with limited/fixed incomes, and women who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender-fluid or gender-rich. However, anyone with financial need is encouraged to apply.

Scholarship funds are budgeted on a per retreat basis. This means that funding is limited per retreat. We recommend candidates apply as early as possible to improve their chances of receiving a scholarship. 

APPLYING FOR A SCHOLARSHIP:

All information supplied is kept confidential.  Scholarship funds are budgeted on a per retreat basis.  This means that funding is limited per retreat. We recommend candidates apply as early as possible to improve the chances of receiving a scholarship.

SELECTION PROCESS

•      Scholarships awarded are up to $300. Currently there is $1800 in our scholarship fund which will allow for 6 women to receive scholarships.  First time applicants receive priority. 

•      Once your application has been reviewed, you will be apprised of the status of your application by phone and/or email no later than March 31, 2026.

•      If we are unable to award you a scholarship, your deposit will be returned to you.  In all other instances, the deposit is subject to our cancellation/refund policy.
